Build and Defend Your Raft Players and crew

Build and Defend Your Raft is online PvP, not a quiet sandbox. Raft Pirates released it on Roblox on 28 July 2026. Shared servers take up to 18 players. You will share water with friends, strangers, raiders, and people who only wanted to harpoon in peace. The Crew button is the roster

The Crew button is a real on-screen control, not slang. Use it to see who is actually with you before you spend scrap on a second story. A compact fortress with three named people beats a mansion with a ghost list. If you plan to raid, the Crew list is how you confirm a sitter exists. If you plan to hold, it is how you notice you are suddenly alone.

Do not treat random server-mates as crew. Max 18 means you will see people who want your chest. Wave, then wall.

Roles in one paragraph

Someone has to harpoon. Someone has to sit the cannon and the chest. Someone may raid if the first two jobs are filled. That is the whole Holy Trinity for this game until Raft Pirates publishes a class system — which they have not. We will not invent hidden heroes or NPC companions beyond what badges confirm. Read raid crew roles before your group argues mid-timer.

Badges we can actually name

Two badges are documented:

• Welcome — the ordinary join badge.
• Meet Frank — created 22 August 2026, awarded to roughly 55% of players, exact encounter not published.

That 55% figure means Frank is common enough that you should not pay for a “secret boss carry,” and rare enough that half the server may still be looking. We do not know the trigger. We will not invent a backstory, a drop table, or a keybind. Hunt notes live on the Meet Frank page.

If a YouTube title promises a guaranteed Frank spawn with a loadstring, that is a scripts problem, not a players guide.

Community without fake invites

Codes, when they exist, are posted in the Community Server mentioned in-game. This wiki does not have a confirmed Discord invite URL, so we will not paste a guessed link. As of 31 August 2026 there were no working codes. Checking the Community Server is still the right habit. Redeem in the Shop field, not on a third-party form.

How a live 18-player map feels

You will hear the timer. You will see gather objectives. You will watch a Free Reward cannon go unclaimed on a boat that then gets raided. You will meet crews who all jumped off at once. You will meet a solo who hid the chest and wasted four raiders. The player skill that matters is naming a job before the scrap hits the table.

Mobile, console, and PC all play the same Roblox session. We will not publish guessed keybinds. Learn your device, then keep the Crew button visible.

We will not invent a character roster, friend codes, or a starter hero list. This is online PvP, already released. When Saturday patches add a named NPC or a new badge, this hub should gain a child page. Until then, Frank and roles deserve the ink.

Favorite the Roblox page. Open Crew. Name harpoon, sit, raid. Hunt Frank without paying a stranger for lore — use the Meet Frank notes. Hunt chests with how to raid and a sitter. If chat turns into who “is DPS,” point at the three jobs and stop drafting classes Raft Pirates never shipped.

Players are the meta. Walls do not click the Crew button. Cannons do not harpoon. Frank does not replace a sitter. Fill the names, then fill the deck.
