Build and Defend Your Raft Weapon and kit ranks

Weapons in Build and Defend Your Raft are jobs you bring onto a live Roblox PvP server (max 18), not a finished encyclopedia of every craft. Raft Pirates launched the experience on 28 July 2026. The harpoon is the named gather tool. The Crafting Table is where later gear appears. Official art shows cannons as deck pieces more than as pocket guns. Public recipe lists are incomplete, so this page will not invent IDs, damage numbers, or keybinds. We rank kits by the job: gather, raid, or turtle. What we actually know

• You gather with a harpoon.
• You unlock better gear by raising the Crafting Table.
• Cannons show up as placed defenses and as a Free Reward cannon, not as a secret unpublished sniper we can name.
• Shop scrap packs (50 / 150 / 500 scrap for 49 / 249 / 499 Robux) speed the bench. They do not tell you which unpublished sword is S-tier.
• Saturday patches can change costs and unlocks. Re-open the table after a patch.

If a video overlay lists twenty named blades we cannot confirm in-game, treat it as fan fiction.

S-tier kits

S — harpoon-first gather kit. The session dies if scrap stops. A player who can hit debris, return to the deck, and dump into the table is worth more than a flashy raid loadout on an empty raft. Keep the harpoon perch inside the defended lip so a raid does not strand your only gatherer.

S — one raid kit, one home kit, never two raid kits on a solo hold. If you are the only person on the boat, the S-tier “weapon” is whatever lets you poke a boarder while standing on your own spikes’ safe side. Leaving with a raid kit and trusting walls is F-tier, not bold.

A-tier kits

A — Crafting Table upgrades that shorten the next hold. Spend the first table jumps on tools that protect the gather loop or let you place the next wall faster. We will not name fake recipes. Open the table, read what it actually shows, and pick the line that keeps scrap flowing.

A — cannon as a crew weapon. A seated cannon is a weapon for the person who stayed. Rank it with the defense list, but remember it is also a kit choice: someone has to be there. A cannon with no crew is a prop.

A — raid kit on a two-plus crew with a named sitter. Boarding is the other half of the game. Take a raid kit only after the Crew button has a defender. Timer discipline belongs in how to raid.

B-tier kits

B — mixed loadout that does neither job well. You left the harpoon on the deck and cannot turtle. Pick a job before you jump.

B — turtle kit on a wide open deck. Turtle gear cannot save a chest on the welcome mat. Compact first, then turtle.

B — buying scrap packs instead of learning the harpoon. Packs are legal. They are not a substitute for aim.

C and F kits

C — fashion loadouts copied from Hour-100 screenshots. If you cannot say whether the tool is for gather, raid, or sit, it is C.

C — everyone crafts the same raid toy. Three raiders and zero harpoons starve the table.

F — unpublished “inf damage” lists. If a site needs an executor to explain your weapon rank, you are in the scripts trap.

F — raiding with the whole crew’s only tools. You win a chest and lose yours.

F — inventing keybinds in chat. This wiki will not publish fake controls. Learn your device in the session.

Raid kit versus turtle kit

Raid bag. Light enough to leave, useful on someone else’s lip, and paired with a plan to return before your own timer is a gift. Never take the only harpoon if gather still matters this hour.

Turtle bag. Useful on your own deck, paired with spikes and a cannon angle, and held by the person who promised to stay. Turtle is a role. See raid crew roles if your group keeps arguing mid-board.

Switch bags between raids, not during the animation of boarding. The bench is the real weapon tree: raise it, read it, craft what it shows. This page stays empty of fabricated rows until the live table is verifiable. Favorite the Roblox page and open the table after Saturday. Codes redeem in the Shop; none were working as of 31 August 2026.

Name the job first: gather, sit, or raid. Give the harpoon a perch inside the lip. Give the cannon to the sitter. Allow a raid kit only if that sitter exists. Kits expire when the crew plan expires. The harpoon remains the only tool we can name with confidence every hour. Everything else is a Crafting Table screenshot you should take yourself, not a mythic ID copied from a stranger’s overlay. If your hotbar cannot explain gather, sit, or raid in one sentence, it is not S-tier — it is clutter on a boat that still needs scrap.
